CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 24, 2026)
BROAD STREET LANE CLOSURES EXTENDED
W 33rd Street and Broad Street
The following restrictions and/or closures will be extended until Sunday,
April 26th at 7:30 PM:
- Broad Street between W 31st Street and Charger Drive will be reduced to
a single lane in each direction - W 33rd Street will be closed at Broad Street with the traffic light
flashing yellow for all Broad Street traffic; There will be no access to W
33rd Street at the intersection. Please Note: - All traffic on W 33rd Street east of Broad Street will need to
utilize Williams Street or Alton Park Blvd for access - All traffic on W 33rd Street west of Broad Street will need to
utilize St Elmo Ave and any of the numerous connections into
Broad Street;
The only traffic light access will be via Publix
With the closure of W 33rd Street, all traffic on Broad Street will no longer need to stop at the traffic light for the duration of the project. While this will lessen the negative impact, drivers are encouraged to plan for additional time or alternate routes during construction.
SPECIAL EVENT ROAD CLOSURES
Chocolat - A Chocolate Themed Market
Station Street will be closed between Market Street and Rossville Ave on Saturday, April 25th from Noon until 11:30 PM for the Chocolat - A Chocolate Themed Market
The Chattanooga Market - Opening Weekend
Reggie White Blvd between W Main Street and W 20th Street will be closed
Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th for the Chattanooga Market’s
opening weekend.
