What's Involved: A number of Chattanooga firefighters will be recognized for their outstanding efforts during the past year. Highlights include the recognition of firefighters and civilians involved in the successful rescue of a woman in a house fire on Judy's Lane September 17, 2017 (see photo below). The firefighters who rescued a woman from a house fire on Centro Street September 20, 2017 will also be recognized. Additional awards include Firefighter of the Year and Medal of Valor.
We hope you will make an effort to cover this event as some of this area's best first responders are honored by their peers. Interviews will be available before and after the program.
