Firefighters Rescue Injured Patient From Quarry

The Chattanooga Fire Department had a rescue at Greenway Farms quarry Saturday night. The reporting party fell and was injured around 7:30 PM. Crews went in, packaged the patient and brought them out in a Gator. Squad 19, Squad 7, Engine 19, Engine 11, Quint 10, USAR 1, Battalion 2, Battalion 3 (Green Shift), Special Ops, CPD and HCEMS responded. The CFD has worked multiple rescues at this location. It’s the fourth for Green Shift alone in recent months.
