No Injuries In Overnight House Fire

After conducting a primary search to confirm that no one was inside the structure, firefighters with six fire companies worked on putting the fire out. They were able to extinguish the fire in about 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The house was unoccupied. The owners of the property arrived a short time later and told firefighters that they had just purchased the house and were planning on remodeling it. Battalion Chief Ashley May estimated the dollar loss at $20,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
