Update On House Fire On Elmendorf Street

Lt. Andrew Waters with the Fire Investigation Division said the fire was most likely caused by improperly discarded smoking materials. Lt. Henry McElvain assisted with the investigation. Lt. Waters said the dollar loss was estimated at $20,000. The American Red Cross is assisting the family. The two pet dogs were not injured in the fire.
