Our Programs

The Public Art Commission offers many programs that help to promote and create art in the Scenic City.

Proposals and Donations

Public Art Chattanooga has established policies and procedures for any unsolicited donations, loans, or exhibition proposals.

Artwork Archives

The City of Chattanooga’s Public Art Collection is now showcased through Artwork Archives, offering an accessible and comprehensive platform that allows you to explore and appreciate the breadth of our diverse collection. We invite you to delve into the unique narratives, artistic processes, and cultural influences that have shaped the diverse array of sculptures, murals, and installations. Embark on a visual journey that not only celebrates the creativity of local and international artists but also fosters a deeper understanding of the intersecting stories and themes woven into the fabric of Chattanooga’s public art landscape.

Artwork Selection Panel

Every project has a different artwork selection panel comprised of Chattanooga citizens with a specific interest or expertise including: artists, community and business representatives, architects, landscape architects, art and/or design professionals, and City of Chattanooga representatives. This panel reviews submissions for a public art project and makes recommendations to the Public Art Commission.

Serve on an artwork selection panel.
