Early Saturday morning, at 0138 AM Chattanooga Fire Dept crews responded to a possible commercial fire at 3714 Rossville Blvd. Engine #9 was the first to arrive on scene and reported a working structure fire. Additional CFD companies Engine #1, Squad #1, Ladder #1, Engine #5, Ladder#5, Engine #14, Battalion #1 and Battalion #3 responded. Crews made an aggressive interior attack and contained the fire damage to the first floor on the 2-story structure. The building was vacant and being remodeled. HCEMS and Chattanooga PD provided assistance. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
