Outdoor Pools
For your safety and ours, no inflatables, water wings or pool noodles are allowed in the pool, life jackets must be Coast Guard approved. Swimmers who are not potty trained must wear a swim diaper. Please bring your own swim diapers with you each visit. Proper swimming attire is required for entry to the pool. No street clothes. All children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult in the water. All swimmers must pass a swim test to swim in the deep end of the pool.
Warner Park Pool
The Warner Park Pool features a large splash pad with water features that squirt, spray, splash, rain, and sprinkle for hours of cool recreation activity. $3 per person.
$3.00 entry fee, 2 and under are free
Credit cards accepted!
Everyone entering the pool facility is required to pay the day fee. No refunds will be given for any reason including inclement weather. Check the weather ahead of your visit.
Adult Lap Swim
We offer adults a chance to swim once the pool closes for regular activities.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Swim Lessons
Community Development offers swim lessons for all ages 3-12. Lesson fees areat $35 per individual for 8 one half hour class sessions.
Summer swim lesson sign up will May 21, 2026 at 8AM online only. Session One will begin June 3rd through June 26th. The second session will begin July 8th - July 31st. Each session will take place at the Warner Park Pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 5:30pm with preschool classes and 6:05pm for school age classes. Swimmers will attend both nights for 4 weeks.

Beginner Lessons (Preschool or School-age Levels)
The Beginner Level focuses on basic water safety and survival skills, introducing fundamental freestyle and backstroke techniques. Ideal for children not yet comfortable in the water, this class emphasizes personal water safety and achieving basic swimming competency.
Skills covered include:
Minimum age requirement: children ages 3 and older
Advanced Beginner (Preschool or School-age Levels)
Advanced lessons build on previously learned skills, requiring swimmers to demonstrate independence in the water. This level introduces stroke techniques, rhythmic breathing, personal safety skills, and endurance swimming.
Skills include:
Intro to Competitive Swimming (School-age Children)
Designed for school-age children, this class focuses on developing stroke techniques for freestyle and backstroke. Students are introduced to breaststroke and butterfly strokes through drills for 25 yards, requiring continuous swimming throughout the class.
Prerequisites:
- One length freestyle with rhythmic side breathing pattern
- One length backstroke

Chattanooga is proud to offer options for lifeguarding with great pay, flexible hours, and a choice of working in our outdoor pools over the summer or our 2 indoor pools during the year.
