Chattanooga, Tenn. (April 24, 2025) - The City of Chattanooga has sent
letters to all 836 people whose City of Chattanooga data was affected by
Nationwide Recovery Services’ (NRS) recent data breach. The letters detail
to individuals what information was exposed and how they can register to
receive complimentary identity protection that the City will provide.

culminating in a high-energy community pep rally in Miller Park.
Chattanooga, Tenn. (April 8, 2025) - Today, the Chattanooga City Council voted on second reading to give final passage to the first comprehensive update to the city’s tree ordinance in more than 35 years.
“Chattanooga’s future depends on smart, balanced growth, and that includes protecting the natural assets that make our city so special,” said Mayor Tim Kelly. “This new ordinance ensures we can continue to grow responsibly while preserving and expanding our tree canopy.”
