Sale saves city taxpayers hundreds of thousands over average municipal rate, after rating agencies affirm Chattanooga’s management and outlook.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Host City Authority, comprised of the City of Chattanooga, Baylor School, Vision Hospitality Group, Hamilton County, Chattanooga Tourism Co., and The Sports & Events Corporation, proudly announces that Chattanooga has officially been selected as the Team Base Camp for the Spain National Football Team. Spain’s official announcement of its Team Base Camp selection is available here.

January 23, in honor of Tommie Brown.

Brown served Chattanooga in the Tennessee House of Representatives for 20
years. She passed away earlier this week.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (January 8, 2026) – The City of Chattanooga and the
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Research Institute (UTCRI) have been
awarded $1,063,393 in federal funding through the U.S. Department of
Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program to support a
new Roadway Safety Design Technology Platform.
