CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (June 3, 2025) – Chattanooga City Council today on first
reading voted to pass Mayor Tim Kelly’s proposed fiscal year 2025-2026
budget, which makes significant investments in public safety,
infrastructure and affordable housing. The final, second reading vote is
scheduled for June 10.

Free Summer Meals for Kids Available from YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga Starting May 27. Meals provided on first-come, first-serve basis across Tennessee Valley

Chattanooga, Tenn. (May 23, 2025) - The YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga
will begin its Free Summer Food Program for area kids starting May 27, and
CARTA is easily connecting families to those meals through the Read & Ride
program.

Chattanooga, Tenn. (May 8, 2025) - Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly announced
that April Furth has been appointed as the new Administrator for the Parks
& Outdoors Department. She will begin work on June 13.

Furth joins the Kelly administration from Vancouver, Washington where she
served as the Director of Community Development for Clark County,
Washington. Previously, she gained experience in operational management and
customer service in the retail industry.

appointed Stephanie Cepak, an award-winning journalist and strategic
communications professional, to the role of press secretary.

letters to all 836 people whose City of Chattanooga data was affected by
Nationwide Recovery Services’ (NRS) recent data breach. The letters detail
to individuals what information was exposed and how they can register to
receive complimentary identity protection that the City will provide.
