Come experience the beautiful and shady waters of North Chickamauga Creek by kayak and learn to paddle while learning some Civil War history along the way thanks to National Park Partners.  See where the Battle of Missionary Ridge actually begins!  This 4 mile leisurely paced paddle explores Sherman’s Crossing near the confluence of the N.Chick to the Tennessee River and other historic sites. We will experience the calm tailwaters of North Chickamauga Creek that flow along the banks of Greenway Farm Park. Kayaks (single cockpit recreational sit in seat kayaks) , paddles, PFDs, guides and shuttle are all provided. This is an excellent paddle for the beginning kayaker.

Pre-registration is required as we keep our group sizes smaller for quality programming and safety protocols.  Check your email for your Need to KNOW INFO 2-3 days prior to your trip. Fee $35 per person. All equipment and instruction provided.  Appropriated for ages 14 and up

As a reminder registration opens two weeks before event and closes two days prior!
