CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Police Department is pleased to
announce the return of Elisa Myzal as the new Public Affairs Director.
After leaving the department three years ago to pursue opportunities in the
private sector and travel, Myzal has returned to take on this critical role
in enhancing the department’s communication efforts.
“Elisa’s proven track record in managing communications in crisis
situations and fostering strong media and community relationships will be
invaluable in advancing the CPD’s goals and initiatives, said Chief John
Chambers. “Her previous experience with us, combined with her work in the
media, and expertise gained in the private sector, makes Elisa uniquely
qualified to lead our public affairs efforts.”
Myzal joins the Public Affairs Unit alongside Sgt. Victor Miller, CPD’s
Public Information Officer, and Austin Riddle, the department’s Social
Media Coordinator. She previously served as the CPD’s Communications
Coordinator for five years, from August 2016 to December 2021.
