would like to invite you to the 2025-2026 LIHEAP
<https://chattanooga.gov/pay-and-apply/permits-applications/energy-assistance-program>
drive-thru event. The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program aids
families who meet low-income requirements to cope with increasing home
energy expenses. Residents of Chattanooga who meet income requirements are
eligible to apply and can only apply once a fiscal year.
City Hall Midtown will be hosting a drive-thru event to give residents more
information about how they can apply. The event will start on Monday,
November 3rd, and span through Friday, November 7th, with a daily hour
range of 8 am to 4 pm. After November 7th, applications can be submitted
online through September 2026.
Requirements have changed this year. The 2025-2026 application process is
now entirely digital, which means that residents must include a valid email
address in their application. Residents can apply by texting LIHEAP to
(423) 643-7300, or visiting cha.city/liheap

Online submissions will begin on November 3rd.
