Mayor Kelly Thanks First Responders and Essential Workers for Snow Response

Chattanooga, Tenn. (January 13, 2025) - Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly has
issued the below statement thanking first responders and essential workers.

“While most of Chattanooga enjoyed the snow, there were many from our team
who risked dangerous conditions to ensure Chattanooga remained safe and
operating,” said Mayor Tim Kelly. “I want to give a big thank you to all
city employees who worked in the cold, including our team members from
Public Works, the Police Department, the Fire Department, and Moccasin
Bend. And I also want to thank our partner organizations. Your service has
not gone unnoticed. Thanks for all the hard work you all do every day.”
