Home to a colony of 5,000 endangered gray bats and the only Georgia occurrence of the endangered Tennessee Cave Salamander, Frick’s Cave serves as a refuge to native species and a significant ecological site for research. Join Outdoor Chattanooga and SCCi for a naturalist walk through the preserve followed by a short presentation about the cave’s ecology, preservation, and most importantly: BATS! Finish the evening by watching the daily bat flight from the cave. Family friendly!
