Chattanooga, Tennessee — May 4, 2026 — The City Wide Services division is launching its 2026 street sweeping program to improve neighborhood aesthetics and protect local waterways. To ensure total coverage, sweeping routes will follow the established garbage service maps.
Monthly Service Schedule Crews will begin servicing each area on the following dates:
- Area 1: Starting Monday, May 4, 2026
- Area 2: Starting Monday, June 1, 2026
- Area 3: Starting Monday, July 6, 2026
- Area 4: Starting Monday, August 3, 2026
Public Cooperation Needed
To ensure a thorough cleaning, we ask citizens to please move all vehicles off the street during their scheduled service week. This allows our teams to access the curb directly and collect all accumulated debris.
Important: Please also remove portable basketball hoops and refuse bins from the roadway.
