Senior Community Fair Coming to John A. Patten Community Center

Chattanooga, TN (September 5, 2025) — The City of Chattanooga’s Department
of Community Development invites area seniors to join us for a day of
connection, learning, and fun at the Senior Community Fair on Friday,
September 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the John A. Patten
Community Center, located at 3202 Kellys Ferry Road.

The Senior Community Fair will feature engaging presentations, a variety of
local vendors, and opportunities to sign up for programs and activities
available at the center. Seniors can also enjoy music, refreshments, and
more throughout the day.

Community partners include the Chattanooga Police Department, the
Chattanooga Fire Department, the Chattanooga Public Library, the Dolly
Parton Imagination Library, Hospice of Chattanooga, Amedisys Hospice, the
Office of Family Empowerment, the Department of Community Health, Lookout
Valley Soccer Association and Gear Closet, Senior Olympics, Wildwood Farms,
Foster Grandparent Program, Child Evangelism Foundation with the Good News
Club, and more.

“This fair is a wonderful opportunity for seniors to learn about available
resources, connect with their community, and discover activities that can
enhance their well-being,” said Jim Long, John A. Patten Center Manager.

Admission is free, and all seniors are encouraged to attend. For more
