Shooting - 1900 block of Market Street

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on January 18, 2026, at approximately 9:00pm on the 1900 block of Market Street.

Prior to arrival on scene, officers were notified that a 37 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound had arrived at a local hospital via a personal vehicle. The victim's injuries are considered non-life-threatening at this time. CPD’s Homicide Unit responded to lead the investigation and the Crime Scene Unit processed the scene for evidence. All active leads are being followed up on.
