Special Event Road Closures For This Weekend

WEEKEND SPECIAL EVENT RELATED ROAD CLOSURES

Friday, May 22nd - Monday, May 25th

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 22nd, 2026) 

•  Nightfall 2026 - Due to inclement weather, Nightfall for Friday, May 22nd, has moved to the First Horizon Pavilion.
   
• Frazier Festival- Frazier Avenue between Market Street and Delmont Street will be closed on Saturday, May 23rd, from 9 AM until 8 PM for the rescheduled Frazier Festival.
   
• Woodland Avenue will also be closed at the Walgreens parking lot, and access to Frazier Avenue will be restricted. No through traffic will be permitted between Market Street and Barton Ave; All traffic must detour via 4th Street on the south shore.
   
• Riverfront Nights - Riverfront Parkway between Power Alley and Chestnut Street will be closed Saturday, May 23rd from Noon until 11 PM. Detours will be routed via Chestnut Street, Power Alley, and Aquarium Way. All tractor-trailers and vehicles with greater than 2 axles are prohibited between W Martin Luther King Blvd and E Aquarium Way. Detours will be posted for these vehicles.
   
•  Chattanooga Football Club 

The following locations will be closed on Sunday, May 24th from 10 AM until 10 PM for a CFC match at Finley Stadium:

• Reggie White Blvd between W 20th Street and Main Street
• W 19th Street between Reggie White Blvd and Chestnut Street
• Chestnut Street between W 19th Street and Main Street
• Chattanooga Market

Reggie White Blvd between W 20th Street and the Skate Park/Dog Park entrance will be closed Sunday, May 24th at 8 AM and will reopen after the Chattanooga CFC Match.

Chattanooga Chase- The annual Chattanooga Chase will take place on Monday, May 25th, from 7 AM until 12:15 PM, with the following road restrictions in place:

Full Closure:

• Dorchester Road between Hixson Pike and Sterling Ave
• Hanover Street between Hixson Pike and Dorchester Ave
• Barton Ave between Terrace Ave and Dorchester Ave

Restrictions:

• Right lane of Hixson Pike northbound between Woodhill Drive and Minnekahda Place
• Traffic on the following roads will be allowed at reduced speeds, watching out for running participants: Woodhill Drive, Minnekahda Place, Shady Circle, Falmouth Road, Riverview Road, North Ave, Concord Street, Devonshire Ave, Dorchester Road (south of Sterling)
