CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (June 18th, 2026)
Soccer Live! Chattanooga Soccer Live! will take place Friday, June 19th through Sunday, June 21st, with the following closures effective immediately through Monday, June 22nd at 5 AM:
- Riverfront Parkway from E Aquarium Way to Southern Belle parking lot
- Veterans Bridge northbound ramp connecting to Riverfront Parkway westbound
- Chestnut Street from W Aquarium Way to Riverfront Parkway
- Power Alley from the Riverfront Parking Lot access to Riverfront Parkway
All tractor trailer traffic will be restricted east of Martin Luther King Blvd and will be required to detour via MLK Blvd and Houston Street
The following locations will be closed or restricted on Friday, June 19th at the respective times for the Juneteenth Parade:
11:30 AM - 12:45 PM:
- Georgia Ave between Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and E 10th Street
(parade staging)
11:45 AM - 1 PM
- Martin Luther King Jr Blvd between Georgia Ave and Peeples Street
(parade route) - All cross streets between the start/end points will be closed to
through traffic
Noon - 1:30 PM:
- Peeples Street between Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and E 10th Street
(parade disbursement)
The following locations will be closed or restricted on Fridays between May 1st and July 31st for the weekly free concert series:
3 PM - Midnight
- Cherry Street between W 8th Street and E Martin Luther King Blvd
- All street parking is restricted during the closure
5 PM - Midnight
- Market Street between W 8th Street and W 10th Street
- Martin Luther King Blvd between Broad Street and Georgia Ave
All street parking is restricted during the closure
Recommended detour routes:
- Broad Street, Georgia Ave, Lindsay Street, W 10th Street, and W 11th
Street - Bessie Smith's Big 9 Music Fest
The following locations will be closed or restricted on Saturday, June 20th from 8 AM until 11 PM for the Big 9 Music Fest:
- Martin Luther King Jr Blvd between Georgia Ave and Foster Street
- Closure includes all cross streets between the two closure points
Detours will be posted.
AllStar Foundation BBQ Festival
Georgia Ave between Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and E 10th Street will be closed Saturday, June 20th from 8 AM until 9:30 PM for the AllStar Foundation BBQ Festival. Detours will be the same as the Big 9 Festival.
South Chattanooga Juneteenth Celebration
W 38th Street between Ohls Ave and Alton Park Blvd will be closed Saturday, June 20th from 9 AM until 5 PM for the Juneteenth Celebration. Detours will be posted.
Reggie White Blvd between W 20th Street and the Skate Park/Dog Park entrance will be closed Sunday, June 21st from 8 AM until 8 PM for the Chattanooga Market.
