NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart McWhorter and iFixit officials announced today the company will establish its East Coast hub for distribution and innovation in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
iFixit will invest $24.2 million and create 201 new jobs in Hamilton County over the next five years.

The City of Chattanooga’s Department of Equity and Community Engagement is hosting a special edition of their monthly Minority Business Owners Roundtable in honor of the Juneteenth holiday. The celebration will uplift the history of Juneteenth and Black economic empowerment while featuring three Black-owned businesses in the M.L. King area: Chatt Smokehouse, Uncle Larry's, and the Peach Cobbler Factory.
