WHAT: 

The City of Chattanooga and Trust for Public Land will announce Chattanooga’s participation in an innovative new program designed to address the challenges cities face to improving park access — from gaps in connectivity to finding ways to authentically engage residents in park planning. Chattanooga is one of six cities selected to participate based on its commitment to advancing local park goals, its readiness to explore and adopt new strategies, and its potential to advance field understanding and best practices to other cities.

Roadmap serves as a comprehensive framework to coordinate the efforts of the entire community in building a safer city, now and for generations to come
