Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors is proud to offer a number of sports and outdoor activities for youth and adults of all ages and abilities. We also work closely with our community centers to offer programs throughout the year.

Senior Olympics

Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors is proud to host the TN Senior Olympics for the region.

Our Seasonal Sports

FREE Youth Basketball

  • Durantion: Seven-week league starting in November at numerous Community Centers. 

  • Price: The league is free for all participants. 

  • Registration: October 15th - November 11th. Visit your local Community center or call Deon Brown at (423) 643-6055.

  • Season Start: December 2nd.

Inner City Golf Club

For ages 7-14
Participate for free NOW through September. 
Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30pm - 6:00pm
Lessons take place at First Tee at 2453 Hickory Valley Rd.

Co-Ed Volleyball

Adult Pop Up Co-Ed Volleyball
Join the City of Chattanooga Recreation Division for Adult Pop Up Co-Ed Volleyball, a free program designed to promote fun, fitness, and socializing. The sessions run every second Wednesday through March from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Lake Community Center. The program is open to individuals and teams aged 18 and older, with athletic attire and indoor sneakers required. Registration is required in advance and should register as one person. Individuals can register as well.
