Civilian Response To Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Registration
The Chattanooga Police Department’s Special Operations Division offers Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) training at no cost to businesses, places of worship, and other organizations in Chattanooga.
Led by the CPD Safety Preparedness Coordinator, this training is delivered on-site at your organization’s location—whether it’s an office, church, synagogue, temple, or community center. To host a session, your facility must have audio/visual capabilities and adequate seating for all participants.
The CRASE course is based on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy and is designed to equip civilians with practical skills and proactive strategies to help protect themselves and others in the event of an active shooter situation, including the critical time before law enforcement arrives.
Session: Approximately 90 minutes (may vary based on group size and level of engagement).
