Chattanooga, Tenn. (December 18, 2025) - Garbage <http://www.chattanooga.gov/public-works/city-wide-services/garbage-collection> and Recycle <http://www.chattanooga.gov/public-works/city-wide-services/pw-recycling> collection scheduled Wednesday, December 24th will be collected as normal. There will be no change to the schedule.
Garbage and recycle collection scheduled for Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th, 2025 will be collected on Saturday, December 27th, 2025.
The City of Chattanooga Recycle Centers <http://bit.ly/CHArecyclecenters> and Refuse Collection Centers <http://bit.ly/CHArefusecenters> will be closed Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Christmas Day Thursday, December 25, 2025 and will reopen on Friday, December 26, 2025.
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility <http://bit.ly/CHAhhwf> and the Wood Recycling Center <http://bit.ly/CHAwoodrecyclecenter> will be closed Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Thursday December 25, 2025 and will reopen on Friday, December 26, 2024.
The City Landfill <http://bit.ly/CHAlandfill>, located off Birchwood Pike in Harrison, Tennessee, will be closed Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Thursday December 25, 2025 and will reopen on Friday, December 26, 2025.
