City of Chattanooga Hosting Purchasing Expo on September 25

Chattanooga, Tenn. (September 15, 2025) - The City of Chattanooga is
hosting a purchasing expo to help area businesses learn how the city
sources and utilizes local businesses, amid ongoing efforts to simplify and
streamline the experience of doing business with the city.

The purchasing expo will take place from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Thursday,
September 25 at the East Chattanooga Community Center on 2409 Dodson
Ave. Registration
is not necessary.

The city will have onsite registration assistance for our Supplier Portal
<http://chattanooga.gov/business/supplier-portal>, an online platform
designed to connect businesses with upcoming opportunities and streamline
the procurement process. By signing up, vendors gain access to bid
notifications and resources to help them navigate the procurement process.
There will also be Spanish interpreters onsite.
