Chattanooga, Tenn. (September 19, 2025) - The City of Chattanooga’s Office
of Community Health is hosting the One Community, One Mission: Violence
Summit aimed at uniting residents, community leaders, service providers and
local officials around the critical issue of violence prevention.
Mayor Tim Kelly’s administration has prioritized a public health–centered
approach to violence prevention, emphasizing trauma-informed care, early
intervention and community-based solutions. This Summit builds on those
efforts, advancing the city’s commitment to treat violence as a shared
challenge that requires every voice at the table.
The Summit is open to the public and will take place from 9 a.m.-12
p.m., Wednesday,
October 8 at the Brainerd Crossroads (BX) on 4011 Austin Street. Click here

The Summit will feature keynote remarks from city leadership and community
health experts, panel discussions with practitioners and advocates across
sectors, and breakout sessions for open dialogue and solution-building.
Seats are limited, and advance registration is required.
