CPD Investigating East Brainerd Rd Shooting
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a shooting that happened in East Brainerd Tuesday evening.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 7700 block of East Brainerd Road . When officers arrived on scene, they found a 19-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries. Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.
CPD's Crime Scene and Homicide Units responded to process the scene and investigate the incident. The preliminary investigation indicates the 19-year-old and a juvenile were driving down East Brainerd Road when someone shot at them from another vehicle. The juvenile was not injured.
