Deadly Crash - 3900 block Hixson Pike

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a deadly crash that occurred in the 3900 block of Hixson Pike on May 16, 2026.

At approximately 1.25 p.m. Saturday, CPD's Traffic Unit responded to a two-vehicle crash. The preliminary investigation indicates a Honda Accord was turning left from a parking lot to travel north on Hixson Pike when a motorcyclist struck it.

Hamilton County EMS responded and took the motorcyclist, a 20-year-old male, to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
