CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 23rd, 2026)
EMERGENCY CLOSURE
During routine sewer repairs, a void was discovered underneath Sandswitch Road between Brookmont Lane and Celestial Lane, requiring a full closure of
all vehicle traffic.
Repairs are currently underway and are expected to last until Tuesday, July 28th. An additional announcement will be made once the road reopens.
Traffic south of Brookmont Lane will need to access Sandswitch Road via Gadd Road.
Traffic north of Celestial Lane will need to access Sandswitch Road via Boy Scout Road.
