Mayor’s Council on Disability to Host ADA Celebration in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 10, 2026) – The Mayor’s Council on Disability invites the community to join in celebrating the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with a vibrant and inclusive event themed “Access for All.”

The celebration aims to honor the progress made since the passage of the ADA and to promote universal access in the community and continued advocacy for accessibility and inclusion for individuals with disabilities.

WHAT: Celebration of the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This free, family-friendly event will feature: food and refreshments, local vendors, interactive displays, and information booths.

WHERE: Walker Pavilion in Coolidge Park, 120 River Street, Chattanooga, TN 3740

WHEN: 10 a.m.- 1 p.m., Friday July 24, 2026.
