NOTICE OF TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGES - NEW ALL-WAY STOP INTERSECTION
Sterling Ave at Dennis Road Intersection

A new all-way stop is now in effect at this intersection to improve safety
based on community feedback and the temporary traffic conditions resulting
from the sinkhole on Heritage Landing Drive. Motorists should exercise
caution as drivers adjust to the change.
2025-2026 PAVING AND RESURFACING SEASON TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK

Seneca Avenue between Westridge Road and Edelwies Street (formerly Pine
Street) will be resurfaced on Monday, September 8th, weather permitting.
Work may continue into Tuesday, September 9th, if required.
Central Avenue <https://maps.app.goo.gl/KM42ja2bgXUc8VHLA>
Central Avenue between E 3rd Street and Blackford Street is scheduled for
resurfacing next week.
On Monday, September 8th, crews will begin lowering manholes in
preparation for the resurfacing. This will require temporary lane shifts or
closures by means of flagging operations to maintain two-way traffic.
On Wednesday, September 10th, through Friday, September 12th,
construction crews on behalf of the city will mill the surface, followed by
paving. This will require temporary lane shifts or closures by means of
flagging operations to maintain two-way traffic. All emergency services
will be allowed through the work area. Erlanger Hospital public parking may
briefly be closed as paving crews make their way past the location. These
times will be shared with Erlanger in advance.
All work is weather permitting.
CONSTRUCTION CLOSURES/UPDATES
108 Tremont Street - Updated
Tremont Street between Frazier Ave and River Street is closed due to
emergency repairs to sewer/stormwater infrastructure, effective
immediately. Work is estimated to be completed on Monday, September 8th, at
5:00 PM
Central Ave at Halsey Street - Updated
The Central Ave at Halsey Street closure will be extended until Thursday,
September 11th, for emergency stormwater infrastructure repair.
1300 Bailey Ave
The 1300 block of Bailey Ave will have the following closures and
restrictions from Monday, September 8th, until Friday, September 12th, for
sewer repair:
- Bailey Ave westbound will be closed to through traffic and will be
detoured via S Greenwood Ave and Duncan Ave - Left turns within the 1300 block of Bailey Ave will be restricted for
eastbound traffic
1701 Suck Creek Road
Suck Creek Road within the 1700 block will have a single lane closure,
requiring the use of electric flagging (signals) to maintain two-way
traffic. Work will begin Monday, September 8th, and end Friday, September
12th. This is a continuation of ongoing stormwater main repairs.
