Pedestrian Hit and Killed on Lee Highway

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is
investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead.

CPD's Traffic Unit responded to the 6200 block of Lee Highway shortly after
11:00 Saturday night. The preliminary investigation indicates the
pedestrian, a 38-year-old male, was crossing Lee Highway when a vehicle
traveling East hit him. The driver stopped and remained at the scene.
Hamilton County EMS transported the victim to the hospital where he was
pronounced dead.
