Suspect Arrested - 1000 block of North Hickory Street

The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) has made an arrest in the July 5, 2026 shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of North Hickory Street.

Archie Smith (DOB: 10/30/1949) is charged with:
- Attempted Homicide
- Felony Reckless Endangerment

He was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.
