SPECIAL EVENT CLOSURES
RIVER GAMES CHATTANOOGA <https://www.rivergameschatt.com/>
The following road closures and restrictions will be in place for
Riverfront Parkway at the associated times listed:
PHASE 1
Friday, August 15th at 8:30 AM - Saturday, August 16th at 7 AM
- Riverfront Parkway between Power Alley and Chestnut Street
- All trucks over 2 axles will be prohibited between W MLK Blvd and
Aquarium Way during this closure, unless delivering to local businesses
PHASE 2
Saturday, August 16th at 7 AM until Sunday, August 17th at 7 AM
- Riverfront Parkway between Molly Lane (north entrance) and Aquarium Way
will be closed to all through traffic; All street parking will be
restricted within the closure - All trucks over 2 axles will be prohibited between W MLK Blvd and
Aquarium Way during this closure, unless delivering to local businesses
Chattanooga Riverboat / Southern Belle / SpringHill Suites / Scottie’s
On The River parking can be accessed via W MLK Blvd and Riverfront Parkway
PHASE 3
Sunday, August 17th at 7 AM until Monday, August 18th at 7 AM
- Riverfront Parkway between Power Alley and Chestnut Street
- All trucks over 2 axles will be prohibited between W MLK Blvd and
Aquarium Way during this closure, unless delivering to local businesses
HIGH SCHOOL JAMBOREE AT FINLEY STADIUM

On Friday, August 15th, the following closures and restrictions will be in
place from 4 PM until 11 PM:
- Chestnut Street in front of Finley Stadium will be closed
- Reggie White Blvd in front of Finley Stadium will be closed
- W 19th Street in front of Finley Stadium will be closed
- The westbound right lane of W 20th Street between Chestnut Street and
Main Street will be closed.
SUMMER SPLASH ARTS FESTIVAL <https://splashyouthartsworkshop.org/>
Georgia Ave between E MLK Blvd and E 10th Street will be closed Saturday,
August 16th, between 7 AM and 5 PM for the Summer Splash Arts Festival.
CHATTANOOGA MARKET <https://www.chattanoogamarket.com/>
Reggie White Blvd between W 20th Street and the Skating/Dog Park parking
lot access will be closed Sunday, August 17th, for the Chattanooga Market.
CONSTRUCTION CLOSURES
108 Tremont Street
Tremont Street between River Street and Frazier Ave will close Friday,
August 15th, until Tuesday, August 26th, for emergency sewer repairs.
Detours will be posted.
Cherry Street
Cherry Street between E 6th Street and E 7th Street will close Saturday,
August 16th, for a crane lift. Detours will be posted.
