UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENT ROAD CLOSURES
NIGHTFALL <https://www.nightfallchattanooga.com/>
The following roads and intersections will be closed every Friday from May
2nd through July 4th, 2025, for Nightfall. Closure times are noted:
3 PM until Midnight:
- Cherry Street between E MLK Blvd/Georgia Ave and E 8th Street. Access
will be maintained to the parking garage from E 8th Street.
5:30 PM until Midnight*
- Martin Luther King Blvd between Broad Street and Lindsay Street
- Market Street between 10th Street and 8th Street
- Georgia Ave between E 10th Street and Patten Parkway
All street parking within the above closures
*July 4th Only: All closures except Cherry Street will begin at 4 PM
CHATTANOOGA CHASE <https://chattanoogachase.org/>
The annual Chattanooga Chase will take place on Monday, May 26th, from 6 AM
until 12:30 PM, with the following road restrictions in place:
Full Closure:
- Dorchester Road between Hixson Pike and Sterling Ave
- Hanover Street between Hixson Pike and Dorchester Ave
- Barton Ave between Terrace Ave and Dorchester Ave
Restrictions:
Right lane of Hixson Pike northbound between Woodhill Drive and Minnekahda
Place
Traffic on the following roads will be allowed at reduced speeds, watching
out for running participants:
Woodhill Drive, Minnekahda Place, Shady Circle, Falmouth Road, Riverview
Road, North Ave, Concord Street, Devonshire Ave, Dorchester Road (south of
Sterling)
