Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly today named four finalists who will advance in the search for Chattanooga’s next chief of police. The Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) and an internal review committee have selected the following finalists:

12-member group of community leaders to help coordinate pandemic recovery effort; advise the Mayor on investment priorities for $38.6 million in one-time federal funds

Beginning next week, the City of Chattanooga will seek community input on the upcoming Fiscal Year 2023 budget. Due to the current surge in local COVID cases attributed to the Omicron variant, the City will host three virtual meetings to gather investment ideas from residents that will support implementation of the Kelly administration’s One Chattanooga plan.

Chattanooga City Council tonight confirmed Mayor Kelly’s appointment of Dan Reuter as incoming Administrator for the Department of City Planning, as well as Scott Martin as incoming Administrator for the Department of Parks and Outdoors. Reuter will join City Planning on January 18, while Martin will start February 1st.
