Chattanooga Firefighters Quickly Contain Woods Fire

Chattanooga Fire has a woods fire on Lookout Mountain 75% percent
contained. The call came out at 10:42 AM on 7/11/25. There’s no damage to
the incline’s tracks. A tree falling on a power line caused the fire Friday
morning. EBP is on scene and they have de-energized the power line. CFD Red
Shift crews are stretching additional hose lines to hit remaining hot spots
at this time.
