CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The City of Chattanooga’s Department of Public Works,
in partnership with Neighborhood Services, is excited to announce the next
installment of its 2025 Neighborhood Roundtable Series on Monday, October
20th, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The event will be held at the Chattanooga
City Council Building, located at 1000 Lindsay Street.
The roundtable is an opportunity for the public to learn about the vital
work of the Public Works Department. Staff will provide a comprehensive
presentation on how the city plans, builds, maintains, and protects the
infrastructure and environment. Topics will include streets, sidewalks,
trees, garbage and recycling services, development permitting, code
compliance, and stormwater management.
"This is an excellent chance for residents, especially members of our
Neighborhood Associations, to get an inside look at the services that keep
our city running smoothly," said Perrin Lance, Manager of Neighborhood
Service and Development. "We'll share what we're doing now, what's planned
for the future, and how the community can partner with us to help make a
difference."
