Chattanooga, Tenn. (April 11, 2025) - Garbage
<http://www.chattanooga.gov/public-works/city-wide-services/garbage-collection>
and Recycle <http://bit.ly/CHARecycles19> collection scheduled for Good
Friday, April 18, 2025, will be collected as normal. Please place
containers along the curbside before 7:00 AM on collection day to ensure
pick up.
The City Landfill <http://bit.ly/CHAlandfill> located off of Birchwood Pike
in Harrison, Tennessee, the Household Hazardous Waste Facility
<http://bit.ly/CHAhhwf> and Wood Recycle Center
<http://bit.ly/CHAwoodrecyclecenter> will be closed Friday, April 18, 2025,
in observance of Good Friday. The Household Hazardous Waste Facility and
Wood Recycle center will reopen Saturday, April 19, 2025, for regular
business hours.
The Refuse Collection Centers <http://bit.ly/CHArefusecenters> and Recycle
Collection Centers
<https://chattanooga.gov/services/waste-recycling/recycling> will be closed
on Friday, April 18, 2025, in observance of Good Friday and will reopen on
Saturday, April 19, 2025. In addition, the Refuse Collection Centers and
Recycle Collection Centers will also be closed on Sunday, April 20, 2025,
in observance of Easter and will reopen on Monday, April 21, 2025, for
regular business hours.
