Garbage and Recycle Collection & Site Schedule
Chattanooga, Tenn. (March 31st, 2026) - Garbage and Recycle collection scheduled for Good Friday, April 3, 2026, will be collected as normal. Please place containers along the curbside by 7:00 AM on collection day to ensure pick up.
The City Landfill located off of Birchwood Pike in Harrison, Tennessee, the Household Hazardous Waste Facility and Wood Recycle Center will be closed Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday. The Household Hazardous Waste Facility and
Wood Recycle center will reopen Saturday, April 4, 2026, for regular business hours.
The Refuse Collection Centers and Recycle Collection Centers will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday and will reopen on Saturday, April 4, 2026. In addition, the Refuse Collection Centers and Recycle Centers will also be closed on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in observance of the Easter holiday and will reopen on Monday, April 6, 2026, for regular business hours.
