High Visibility Fire On Manufacturers Road

A fire along the Tennessee River had high visibility Sunday afternoon, prompting multiple passersby to call 911. Red Shift companies responded to 418 Manufacturers Road at 12:42 PM on 12/17/23. A small shed-like structure on the dock was burning, as reported by drivers on the Olgiati Bridge. Because of the location, fire trucks could not access the area. Firefighters used water cans to knock some of the flames down and Fireboat 10 finished extinguishing the fire. There were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.
