Old Pineville Road House Fire

A home undergoing renovations caught fire Wednesday afternoon and the cause is now under investigation. Blue Shift companies responded to the 1100 block of Old Pineville Road at 3:30 PM on 12/20/23. A neighbor called 911 to report that they could see flames coming from the structure. Firefighters arrived on scene and found heavy smoke and fire. They attacked the fire, getting it under control in minutes, while conducting searches of the residence. No one was found. The house has been undergoing a remodel and the fire started outside. It burned an exterior wall and then went into the attic. Once the fire was out, crews ventilated the home and conducted overhaul. There were no injuries. Quint 17, Engine 12, Squad 1, Ladder 1, Quint 1, Squad 20, Battalion 1 and Battalion 3 responded.
