Shed collapse sends Lookout Valley man to hospital

A Lookout Valley man was critically injured Sunday afternoon during a structural collapse. At 12:28 PM on 3/29/26, Red Shift companies responded to the 3300 block of Adkins Road on reports of a collapsed outbuilding behind a residence with entrapment. On arrival, they found that the male patient had been taking apart a large shed when it crumbled on top of him.He was trapped under heavy beams. Firefighters were able to quickly extricate him from the debris and he was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Squad 20, Engine 3, Squad 1, Squad 13, and Battalion 1 responded.
