CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. On February 9, 2025, at 2:43 a.m., Chattanooga
Police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of King Street. When the
officers arrived on the scene, they were unable to locate a victim. A
short time later, the officers were notified of a person shot who arrived
at a local hospital in a personal vehicle. The officers responded and
found a 22-year-old woman with non-life-threatening injuries.
CPD's Homicide Unit responded to conduct the investigation.
The preliminary investigation shows a physical altercation occurred outside
of the business. After the physical altercation, a shot was fired and the
woman was stuck. The person with the handgun remained on scene until the
officers arrived. The Homicide Unit is still working to determine the
exact circumstances of this incident.
