Several luxury cars were destroyed when a transport trailer caught fire Thursday morning in Lookout Valley. Green Shift companies were called to the QT gas station on Browns Ferry Road for a vehicle fire at 9:45 AM on 9/18/25. A transport trailer was fully involved on arrival.
Firefighters worked to extinguish the burning trailer and the five vehicles inside. An aerial master stream assisted extinguishment efforts. The driver told fire officials that he was traveling on the interstate when a passing driver alerted him to smoke coming from the trailer. He pulled off the interstate and into the back parking lot of the QT. When he checked inside the trailer, he spotted the cars on fire and called 911. There were no injuries.
The trailer and its contents- four Corvettes and an Audi R8- were destroyed. The property owner and trucking company are working together on the cleanup process. Stormwater officials and the property owner discussed how to handle all of the runoff. Engine 1, Ladder 5, Engine 5, Battalion 1 and CFD Investigators responded.
