Tree plows through Hixson house

A huge tree fell on this Hixson home late Tuesday night. The tree crashed into a bedroom, causing extensive damage to the structure at 11:57 PM on 1/9/24. This was in the 5400 block of Towne Hills Lane. Ladder 19 and the Battalion Chief for District 3 Red Shift responded. Several occupants were inside the residence at the time of the incident, but thankfully, they were not injured.
