Once on scene, firefighters noted heavy smoke coming from the home and encountered heavy fire in the kitchen as they made an interior attack. Visibility was zero, but their aggressive interior attack confined the majority of the fire damage to the kitchen area. There were no injuries. One adult, two teenagers, and one dog are now receiving assistance from the Red Cross. Engine 4, Engine 15, Engine 10, Squad 13, Ladder 5, and Battalion 3 responded.
