Veterans Bridge Ramp and Hunter Road
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 10, 2026)
CLOSURE EXTENSION
The ramp connecting Veterans Bridge/Barton Ave southbound with Riverfront Parkway westbound will remain closed to vehicular traffic until Sunday, April 12th at 10 PM, as finishing touches are made to the new mural. The pedestrian walkway adjacent to the ramp will remain open, and the public is welcome to view the new mural from the pathway.
UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION CLOSURE WITH TRAFFIC IMPACT
Hunter Road between Hilltop Drive and Ooltewah Harrison Road will be closed during the following dates and times for a street cut to connect a fire suppression system to the water main:
- Friday, April 24th, at 7 PM until 5 AM (Saturday)
- Saturday, April 25th, at 7 PM until 5 AM (Sunday)
Times reflect overnight closures; Detours will be posted.
