Come and perform live at the City of Chattanooga’s New Year Eve Celebration

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is
investigating a shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Windsor Street.

On November 6, 2025 at approximately 12:00 p.m., CPD officers responded to
reports of a person shot. The victim, a 26-year-old man, sustained non-life
threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital via personal vehicle
before officers arrived. Homicide detectives responded to the hospital and
crime scene to conduct an investigation.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. –  The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating
a robbery in the 100 block of Scruggs Street that resulted in one person
being shot.

On November 3, 2025 at approximately 11:00 p.m., CPD officers responded to
a report of a person shot. Crime scene investigators processed the area and
CPD Robbery investigators responded to a local hospital to interview the
victim.

Chattanooga, Tennessee –November 3rd, 2025 – The City’s Code Enforcement
Department is launching a series of systematic, comprehensive inspections
across several Council Districts as part of a major initiative to enhance
neighborhood safety and livability throughout the community. This targeted
operation will focus on enforcing minimum standards designed to protect the
health, safety, and welfare of residents.

Effective immediately, TDOT has installed a new all-way stop at this
intersection to improve safety based on community feedback and the required
traffic studies. Motorists should exercise caution as drivers adjust to the
change.

The Walnut Street Bridge rebuilding and deck installation progress
continues, which will require the closure of one lane of River Street
directly underneath the bridge. During this lane closure, traffic lights
(electronic flagmen) will be installed temporarily, allowing for two-way
traffic during the work. The light timing will be adjusted based on traffic
patterns; however, the longest wait time is expected to be no longer than 3
minutes. The light will be active from Monday, November 3rd until Tuesday,

McCallie Ave in the eastbound direction between Palmetto Street and Magonlia Street will be closed all day Sunday, November 2nd due to a water main break repair.
